Job Summary
DiversiFi is on a mission to redefine how organizations leverage artificial intelligence to make smarter, more inclusive, and more adaptive business decisions. Following our recent launch, we’re growing our Solutions Engineering team with a highly organized, customer-focused Solutions Engineer who can bridge technical capabilities with real-world customer needs. In this role, you’ll partner closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to turn complex challenges into successful implementations and impactful outcomes. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems collaboratively, and can bring clarity and structure to ambiguity, this is the role for you.
Role Overview
The Solutions Engineer with a QA focus bridges our commercial and engineering teams by owning the technical pre-sales and post-sales experience while championing quality throughout every stage of the software delivery lifecycle. This individual will serve as the primary technical resource for prospective and existing clients in the parcel transportation space, translating complex logistics workflows into scalable platform solutions and ensuring those solutions meet rigorous quality standards before and after deployment. The ideal candidate understands the operational rhythms of parcel carriers, last-mile delivery networks, sortation facilities, and shipping software ecosystems — and can speak with authority to engineering teams and logistics operators alike.
What You'll Do

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

  • Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery sessions, solution scoping for parcel carriers, 3PLs, and shipper prospects.
  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) environments tailored to parcel industry workflows.
  • Own the Statement of Work (SOW) and technical requirements documentation through the pre-sales cycle.
  • Act as the authoritative technical voice in client calls, addressing integration architecture, API usage, and platform capabilities.

Quality Assurance & Engineering Collaboration

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios for client-facing solutions.
  • Define and enforce QA acceptance criteria as part of the solutions delivery process, collaborating with product and engineering on defect triage and resolution.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites (API, UI, and data pipeline testing) to accelerate release velocity without compromising reliability.
  • Establish QA best practices across the solutions team and contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and testing frameworks.
  • Champion shift-left testing by embedding quality checks early in the design and development phases of client implementations.

Implementation & Post-Sales Support

  • Lead or support technical onboarding for new clients, including environment setup, API integration, data mapping, and carrier connectivity configuration.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point during implementation sprints and hypercare periods post-go-live.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to resolve production issues, improve monitoring, and document root-cause analyses.
  • Identify patterns in client feedback and translate them into actionable product improvement requests.

Industry Expertise & Enablement

  • Maintain deep knowledge of parcel industry standards, protocols, and integrations.
  • Contribute to the internal knowledge base with technical guides, integration blueprints, and training materials for the broader solutions and sales teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and carrier technology developments to inform product roadmap discussions.
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Pre-Sales, or Implementation Engineer role within a software company.
  • 2+ years of hands-on QA experience, including test plan development, defect management, and test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, SQL, or similar) for test automation and data manipulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to document technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and test artifacts to a professional standard.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves
  • Direct experience working with or within a parcel carrier, regional carrier, freight forwarder, 3PL, or shipping technology company.
  • Familiarity with parcel shipping platforms (e.g., ShipStation, EasyPost, Shippo, Pitney Bowes, Neopost, Stamps.com, or similar).
  • Knowledge of carrier API ecosystems (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, OnTrac, Lasership, regional carriers) and label/manifest generation workflows.
  • Understanding of sortation, delivery exception handling, returns processing, and SLA/on-time delivery metrics relevant to parcel operations.
Why Join DiversiFi
  • Work directly with industry-leading logistics providers solving complex, high-impact operational challenges with AI.
  • Join a fast-moving, highly collaborative team where your ideas and customer insights will directly influence the product roadmap and company growth.
  • Competitive compensation including salary, performance incentives, and equity.
  • Flexible hybrid or remote environment with a results-driven culture.
  • Comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.
