October was a productive month on the platform.

Four updates across billing, sales, and client experience. Here is what is live, what it does, and why it matters for your operation.
‍

BILLING
Branded Customer Invoices
‍

Your clients now receive invoices that look like you, not like software.

Every invoice carries your logo, your company name, and the billing period detail your clients actually care about: pick and pack, shipping, special projects, and storage, all broken down clearly on a single document. Clients can open the same invoice in their portal, see exactly what is due, and download it as a PDF, Excel, or CSV without ever reaching out to your team.

This update closes one of the most common client experience gaps in 3PL billing. When an invoice looks generic or is hard to parse, clients ask questions. When it is clean, branded, and transparent, they pay it. The branded invoice is that second experience, delivered automatically.

For 3PLs who have been dealing with billing friction or clients requesting invoice breakdowns over email, this is the fix. The invoice does the explaining before the question gets asked.

BIDBOOST + BILLING
Client Portal: Published Bid Proposals

Publishing a bid now gives your prospect a single link to a branded proposal page that they can review, react to, and accept, without downloading a file or waiting on an email thread.

When a bid is published, you control exactly which files go with it: the rate card at net rates, the blended rate card, and the shipment rate analysis, all checked individually before the link goes out. Your prospect opens the same view you do when you preview it. Rates, savings, and supporting files in one place. They can review, ask questions, or accept directly in the portal.

For 3PL sales teams, this collapses the back-and-forth that usually happens between proposal delivery and signature. No more emailing updated Excel files. No more asking a prospect to open a PDF and scroll to page four for the rate table. One link. Everything they need to say yes.

This also feeds into the broader sales cycle data. When a prospect opens the link, reviews the proposal, and submits questions through the portal, your team sees exactly where they engaged and what they asked, which makes follow-up faster and more specific.

BILLING
Rule Analyzer

Rule Analyzer is the next addition to the billing rules workflow. Upload the billing rules a client uses today, exported from their current system, and Owlfred reads the file and generates a clear report on the full rule set: how many rules exist, which ones repeat, which ones a standard DiversiFi template already covers, and which ones have problems.

Nothing is saved to the account until you decide to use it. The analysis is purely diagnostic, which makes it a useful tool for onboarding new clients and for auditing existing billing configurations before a billing cycle runs.

This is particularly valuable for 3PLs taking over billing from a client who has been managing rates manually in a spreadsheet or another WMS. Instead of rebuilding their billing logic from scratch, you upload what they have, see what transfers cleanly, and identify the exceptions that need attention. The onboarding friction that normally comes with complex billing configurations gets significantly reduced.

The markup sheet import companion is live alongside the analyzer. Upload a weight-by-zone markup sheet and each table becomes paused billing rules you can review, then activate, mapped to the correct carrier service and customer. No manual rule entry for standard markup structures.

BILLING
Warehouse-Scoped Billing
‍

Multi-facility 3PLs can now scope a billing cycle to a single warehouse.

When a customer operates across multiple locations, each facility can now generate its own invoice with its own rates. Shipments, storage, receiving, and returns from that warehouse land on one clean invoice, separately from activity at other locations. Put a customer in one cycle per warehouse when each building should bill on its own.

The configuration also handles the edge case that comes up in practice: carrier invoices and charges that arrive without a warehouse tag. You can turn on billing for unattributed activity on exactly one warehouse cycle so it still gets captured, rather than flagged and left off the invoice.

For 3PLs managing clients across regional facilities, national networks, or distinct fulfillment centers serving different client channels, this removes the workaround that most teams have been using, which is manually separating activity by location before billing runs.
